The seeds for Skipper were planted while traveling through Africa. We dreamed of a life where our son could learn through experiencing world cultures and history first-hand.
We took the first step towards our next adventure. We sold our successful tech company, moved to the Caribbean, and started #worldschooling.
Fully engaged in our local homeschool community in Florida, we saw the tremendous need for support, training, and technology to help homeschool families, educators, and co-ops.
Skipper (under another name) was born! We committed to the vision and began R&D.
The start of something great. We began building the Skipper MVP learning platform and onboarded our first alpha users.
Raised $1.5M seed round, rebranded Skipper, and onboarded our private beta community co-op.
Our private beta group tripled and continues to grow! We've received great feedback on the Skipper platform and know we have something special!
Skipper got a fresh look with new branding and our favorite octopus logo.
Using our beta feedback, we took things to the next level by updating our tech stack and user experience.
It’s all hands on deck as we open for early access and prepare to launch Skipper to the public.
